The people who do the hard yards here as everywhere, are the kitchen staff. They really are first in, last out. And they let me sneak in a coffee and have a cigarette in the back room. The problem that really makes themstruggle is that they are the people I practice my excellent bahasa Indonesian on and they really love it. In fact they laugh a lot and throw themselves giggling on the ground which is a local custom for showing that you really are a great speaker of their language.
